Celsus

Description

Celsus is our Vermentino DOC Colli di Luni superiore, made exclusively from grapes grown in the Celso area of Fosdinovo (MS) at an elevation of 250 meters above sea level. The grapes are then selected for quality and exposure. Celsus is produced in limited quantities and is vinified in purity by performing a light maceration on the skins. Its structure enhances the main characteristics of Vermentino: it is a wine with an intense straw yellow color, a complex and fruity aromatic impact, a pleasant and enveloping taste with a bitterish aftertaste. We recommend it in combination with fish dishes, white meats and traditional Lunigiana dishes. Best served at a temperature of 10°, Celsus has an alcohol content of 14.0%.
