Terrizzo is our IGT ROSSO TOSCANA, made mainly from sangiovese grapes (60%), but also merlot and cabernet, which are grown in the Celso locality, in the area of Fosdinovo (MS), at an altitude of 250 meters above sea level. Terrizzo is vinified “in red,” with ten days of maceration in contact with the skins. It is then aged for one year in large oak barrels. Terrizzo is ruby red in color with garnet highlights and has an intense and deep aroma, in which blackberry can be recognized. The taste is soft, enveloping and balanced. We recommend it in combination with white meat, red meat, game and cheese dishes. Best served at a temperature of 18°, Terrizzo has an alcohol content of 13%.
